October Challenge: Shop Local, Tag & Win

This October, due to Eagle County Fall Break we're skipping the in-person mixer and taking the celebration to the streets, and to socials. Let's support women in business by visiting our local women business owners. 

Here's the idea: This October (all month) visit any woman-owned business in the Vail Valley, snap a photo and post to your social media accounts. Tag both the business and Vail Valley Business Women. That's your entry into our raffle.

How It Works

• Any woman-owned business counts. We'll share a starter list to get you moving, but it is not the full picture of women-owned businesses in our valley. If a business you love isn't on it, visit anyway. It still qualifies.
• Post and tag. A photo at the business, or a simple check-in style post, tagging the business and @VailValleyBusinessWomen. Each post is one entry.
• Winners drawn Thursday, October 29, 2026. We will be raffling off gift certificates to some of our favorite local (women owned) businesses. And because we support our local businesses we are PURCHASING these gift certificates to help our local economy during what is traditionally a slow month in our valley.
