To our wonderful members and guests,
We had a very successful event last week on October 12th, with over 30 attending the Vail Country Club. A surprise speaker, Dr. Julie Barone from the Vail Shaw Cancer Center, spoke about breast cancer awareness. We also introduced the new Vail Valley Business Women’s board of directors and ended the night with the longest drive competition. There was a lot of laughter, new and old connections made, and of course, great advice given by Dr. Julie.

Everyone is filling a vital role, and we are happy that we have an entire board of directors to spread out the work it takes to create engaging and fun monthly events. We aim to create events you all want to come to and leave a little more intelligent, light-hearted, and excited to attend the next month.
We do have an immediate need for our membership. Our holiday soiree is on December 14th, and to make it a successful event (where we raise a lot of money for our young teenage girls for scholarship money), we need people to help ask for donations for the event. Nouara Sadaoui is in charge of the committee; please contact her at memberatlarge@vvbw.org. If you can help her out. We would very much appreciate your support with this. We are close to deciding on a location and will let you know more next month.

Our event next month is on Wednesday, November 9th, and will be in Gypsum at The 10th Mountain Distillery. It has been a long time since we met in Gypsum, so we thought now was a great time to head down valley for some fun. More to come on what festivities we will have that night, but it will surely be a fun night of connection with professional ladies.
